Trouble in Paradise

Well, there are joys in the construction business. Over the last few days we have had a foundation problem to deal with. It seems that the foundation is not straight and too big across the front of the house. They found this out when they tried to put the grade beam on (the part of the foundation that goes under the garage). The numbers didn't work and the foundation wasn't straight. We brought in the engineers. The good news is that we found a solution that will work fairly quickly. Even better the foundation company is cooperating to do the work required as fast as possible. Soon we will see more lumber than concrete and dirt. It should be a Merry Christmas combined with the joys of moving.
