Pink on the Inside -- Gone

Last week when we were in the house it was a bit hard to get around, because all the drywall was sitting on the floor. Today, the dry wall is all up on the walls.. The difference on the inside of the house now that the boarders have mostly completed their work is dramatic. You can't walk through the walls anymore. Each of the rooms are very well defined. The beams on the main floor in the house are beautiful.

Progress on the house over the last few weeks has been fun to watch. It is really nice to know that every day, we are a little closer to moving in.

Pink on the Inside, Upstairs

When we first walked into the house yesterday, I thought, for a week of working on the insulation they really haven't done much. Then Rob pointed out that they would start upstairs with the insulation. Well the upstairs is almost completely pink. The vaulted ceiling is much more defined with the insulation in. It is quite impressive.

The other work that was done this week, was the in-floor heat for the main floor. We were in a show home last weekend with in-floor heat and I was happy the we made the decision to put it into our house.

Hopefully next week some of the pink insulation will be covered with dry wall.

Basement floor

The basement floor has been poured. When we went to check on the house on Saturday, the sunshine was streaming in and you can see how nice and bright it will be.

We are really hoping that in the next few days the title of our blog should be "Pretty in pink on the inside too".
