Basement floor
The basement floor has been poured. When we went to check on the house on Saturday, the sunshine was streaming in and you can see how nice and bright it will be.
We are really hoping that in the next few days the title of our blog should be "Pretty in pink on the inside too".

Fundamental question - what time of day will it be that bright?
The big windows in the basement face south/west, so don't worry about the bright sun in the morning, when you are still trying to sleep.
